Beeleigh Mill was open to the public on the 14th, 15th and 22nd September.
The Salt, Water and Beer Shanty Singers, a Maldon based shanty band, provide us with a short performance on the 14th. They visited and performed at a number of the Heritage Week events around Maldon.
Over the three days we had 438 visitors, with the first Sunday being the busiest. Thanks to their generosity we received over £500 in donations towards the restoration of the mill.
On Sunday 15th we were joined by Robert Bailey, a regular visitor on our open days, along with a number of model steam engines that he as built. This included one of the Beeleigh beam engine.
